Puppies
Raising confident and healthy puppies starts at day one. From the time the puppies are born, they are continually handled, talked to, and petted so that they are socialized correctly. They are raised in our home in a kiddy pool and have access outside through a doggie door when they are about 3 weeks old. House training begins at this time. Food and water are kept in the kiddy pool, so that they wean themselves when they are ready. By 5 weeks of age, they are completely weaned and puppy shots and worming are started.
The puppies are ready to be placed in their new homes after 9 weeks of age, having been exposed to good discipline by their mother and siblings, having completed worming and all current age appropriate vaccinations. All puppies leave our care with a complete health history record, their AKC registration papers, a copy of their pedigree, family photos, feeding and care instructions, and micro-chip identification. All companion puppies are placed with limited registration and must be spayed or neutered before one year of age.
We guarantee that the puppies are healthy and well adjusted. If for any reason the new owner cannot keep the puppy or adult, they must be returned to the breeder, California Sunshine Beagles. We follow up the puppy placement with support 24/7. There are no questions that cannot be answered. We are interested in solving problems where they exist.
